ComEd Tree Trimming Scheduled in Lombard

comed tree trimming_thumb.jpg

ComEd has recently announced that it will be performing routine power line clearance tree trimming maintenance throughout Lombard. ComEd is required by State Law to maintain clearance from their primary electric distribution lines.

This requirement results in the trimming of trees that are within the clearance zone.

ComEd will be trimming trees throughout Lombard, through 2016. Post cards have been mailed to residents directly affected by ComEd's tree trimming.

The purpose of the tree trimming is to improve the reliability of the electrical distribution system. Routine trimming helps to prevent power loss due to storm and wind damage.
