Wind Storm Clean Up

A wind storm with the potential to break branches and damage trees recently impacted the area. The storm occurred outside of the yard waste collection season and pursuant to Village policy, the Village will not pick up storm debris from private trees.

Material may be placed out for collection by Waste Management the first full week in April on the regular pickup day. Branches must be cut and bundled to specifications (up to 6 feet in length and no individual branch can be larger than 6 inches in diameter). Branches may be stored by residents for pick up in April. Yard waste and branch collection runs from the first full week in April through November. Otherwise, residents may contact a private tree service or landscaping company.
