Construction Alert: Highland and Main Street Pavement Marking Begins Nov. 16


Highland Ave., and Main Street will be down to one lane of traffic in each direction beginning Monday, Nov. 16, weather permitting, in order to replace deteriorated pavement markings.

The construction work is anticipated to be completed with in a few days from its start. The contractor will maintain at least one (1) lane of traffic in each direction, but drivers can expect delays.

The affected locations include:
• Highland Avenue between 22nd Street to Butterfield Road (IL RTE 56);
• Main Street and Wilson Avenue.

Please use caution when driving in this area, obey speed limits, and watch for workers.
