Lombard Cruise Nights will begin its 17th season on Saturday, June 13 with its traditional Welcome Back Weekend. Cruise nights will be held in Downtown Lombard every Saturday, June 13 through August 29, except for July 4.
Cruise cars are invited to park along St. Charles Road from Main Street to Elizabeth, which also is the main thoroughfare for the event. Cars are also invited to park along Park Avenue and in several parking lots within the “Cruise Zone” along St. Charles Road. Event volunteers will help assist with designating parking spots. All cars participating will be expected to adhere to posted parking restrictions, including 2 hour parking which expires at 6 p.m. The Village of Lombard and the Lombard Police Department ask that Cruise Nights attendees and cruise cars do not park in the designated spots before 4 p.m., as many of these parking spots are used as customer parking for local businesses. The Village also asks patrons of the event to avoid blocking doorways to businesses that remain open during the event. Cruise Nights are a family friendly event and alcohol consumption is prohibited.
New this year is Kids’ Corner, where designated community groups and organizations will be sponsoring a fun and free activity for children attending Cruise Nights. Kids’ Corner will be available during Cruise Nights from 6 – 9 p.m. Cruise nights run from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday nights and will feature the following entertainment in 2015:
